Nassal was responsible for the theming and fabrication of all building and show set façades, along with custom artificial rockwork throughout the sea lion pool at Truist Pier 225, one of Georgia Aquarium’s signature galleries.

Truist Pier 225 features the charismatic California sea lion and serves as the setting for the Under the Boardwalk sea lion presentation. Designed to transport guests to the coast of California, the space offers an intimate viewing environment where visitors can experience sea lions up close, observe their behaviors and learn more about the species and its natural habitat.

The gallery supports dynamic interactions between trainers and this highly social pinniped species, creating opportunities for education and engagement. Through immersive theming and detailed craftsmanship, Nassal helped create a setting that enhances storytelling while supporting animal care, guest experience and long‑term performance within an active aquarium environment.
