Nassal completed all theming and rockwork for Explorer’s Cove at the Georgia Aquarium, creating an immersive and hands‑on environment that brings guests face to face with marine life. The space was designed to encourage close interaction while maintaining durability and performance within an active aquarium setting.

The scope included the design, fabrication and installation of all themed elements and custom rockwork throughout the exhibit. These elements work together to create a naturalistic coastal setting that enhances storytelling, encourages guest engagement and supports animal care and operational needs.

Explorer’s Cove allows visitors to interact with sea animals up close and personal, delivering an educational and memorable experience that strengthens the connection between guests and the marine environment. Through detailed craftsmanship and thoughtful integration, Nassal delivered a cohesive and engaging space that supports the Georgia Aquarium’s mission of education and conservation.
