Nassal self-performed the rockwork fabrication throughout Polar Frontier, creating immersive, naturalistic habitats for polar bears, Alaskan brown bears and Arctic foxes. Our scope included the design and execution of scenic rockwork that brought the rugged beauty of the Arctic to life.

Polar Frontier transports guests into the heart of the frozen North. Visitors can watch polar bears swim overhead, see brown bears splash and explore, and spot Arctic foxes nestled in their dens. A polar-themed play area invites kids to climb, imagine and connect with the animals around them, while the Battelle Ice Bear Outpost offers hands-on activities and educational exhibits that highlight both the wonder of the Arctic and the actions we can take to help protect it.
