Raymond James Stadium was designed to capture the energy and spirit of a Buccaneers game, with features that extend beyond the field to create an unforgettable fan experience. At the heart of this vision is Buccaneer’s Cove, a 20,000-square-foot themed area just beyond the north end zone, styled as a 19th-century seaside pirate village.

The centerpiece of the Cove, and now a defining symbol of the team itself, is the 103-foot-long Buccaneers pirate ship, fabricated and installed by Nassal. This full-scale showpiece combines theatrical detail with structural ingenuity, serving as both a visual icon and a fully operational entertainment space during games. Complete with rigging, sails, cannons and intricate scenic finishes, the ship immerses fans in a swashbuckling atmosphere from the moment they enter the stadium.

Surrounding the ship is a two-story village and a 340-foot boardwalk and dock that reinforce the nautical theme and invite fans to explore interactive spaces. From concept to completion, Nassal’s expertise in themed construction and sports attractions transformed this vision into reality, creating an enduring feature that has become both a signature of the Buccaneers brand and a defining element of Raymond James Stadium’s identity.
